Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Mussels

Rinse the blue fish mussels under cold water and remove any beards. Discard any open mussels that do not close when tapped.

2

Sauté Aromatics

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped shallots, sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 3 minutes.

3

Add Tomatoes and Wine

Stir in the diced tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes. Then pour in the white wine and let it simmer for about 2 minutes.

4

Cook the Mussels

Add the cleaned mussels to the pot, cover, and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the mussels have opened up.

5

Finish with Cream

Once the mussels are cooked, stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let it simmer for an additional 2 minutes.

6

Prepare Ciabatta

While the mussels are simmering, grill the ciabatta bread on both sides until golden and crispy.

7

Serve

Serve the blue fish mussels hot, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside the grilled ciabatta slices for dipping.
