Directions

1

Prepare the Tuna

Coat the sushi-grade tuna with sesame seeds on all sides. Season with salt and pepper.

2

Sear the Tuna

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil and sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest.

3

Prepare the Vegetables

Thinly slice the napa cabbage, julienne the carrots, and slice the cucumbers. Halve the grape tomatoes and thinly slice the red bell pepper.

4

Make the Vinaigrette

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey until well combined.

5

Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the napa cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, edamame, grape tomatoes, and red bell pepper. Drizzle with the vinaigrette and toss to combine.

6

Serve

Slice the seared tuna and serve it on top of the salad. Garnish with fried wonton strips.
