Base Preparation

    Preheat the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

    Cream Butter and Sugars

    In a large mixing bowl, beat together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add Vanilla

    Add 2 tsp of vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until combined.

    Combine Dry Ingredients

    In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

    Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients

    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

    Spread in Dish

    Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Filling Preparation

    Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture

    In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

    Add Sugar and Eggs

    Add the powdered sugar, eggs, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.

    Spread Filling

    Pour the cream cheese filling over the chocolate base, spreading it evenly.

Baking and Topping

    Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set.
