Steak Sarnie Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Place the seasoned steak in the hot skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Toast the Bread

While the steak is resting, toast the slices of white bread in the skillet until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sarnie

Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread. Layer the lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, the cooked steak (sliced against the grain), cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of hot sauce on top. Top with another slice of bread.

  5. 5

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately while warm.
