Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Remove the pork rib eye chops from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This helps them cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Chops

Rub the pork chops with olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and let it get hot.

  4. 4

    Cook the Pork Chops

Once the oil is hot, place the pork rib eye chops in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a golden crust forms.

  5. 5

    Flip and Add Butter

Flip the chops over and add the butter to the skillet. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, spooning the melted butter over the chops for added flavor.

  6. 6

    Check for Doneness

Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It should read 145°F (63°C). If not, continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes.

  7. 7

    Rest and Serve

Remove the chops from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute.
