Tilapia

Method

Preparing the Salsa

1

Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, finely chopped red onion, diced red bell pepper, chopped cilantro, and lime juice.

2

Season the Salsa

Add salt to taste and mix well. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld while you prepare the tilapia.

Cooking the Tilapia

3

Season the Fillets

Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle this seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the tilapia fillets.

4

Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

5

Sear the Tilapia

Carefully place the seasoned tilapia fillets in the hot skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

6

Plate the Dish

Once the tilapia is cooked, transfer the fillets to serving plates.

7

Top with Salsa

Spoon the mango salsa generously over the top of each tilapia fillet.

8

Enjoy!

Serve immediately with additional lime wedges if desired.
