Preparation of Fish

Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the fish
Rinse the Atlantic whitefish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Season the fish
Drizzle olive oil over the fillets, then sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides.
Making Lemon Pepper Cream Sauce

Combine sauce ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, lemon pepper seasoning, and garlic powder until well combined.

Pour sauce over fish
Pour the lemon pepper cream sauce evenly over the seasoned fish fillets on the baking sheet.
Cooking Rice

Simmer the rice
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 15-18 minutes or until the rice is tender and all the water is absorbed.

Fluff the rice
Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes. Then, fluff the rice with a fork.
Baking the Fish

Bake the fish
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the fish for about 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serving

Plate the dish
On a serving plate, create a bed of seasoned rice and place the baked Atlantic whitefish fillet on top. Drizzle any remaining sauce over the fish.

If desired, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the dish for garnish.
