Base Ingredients

Mascarpone Mixture

Method

Preparing the Coffee

  1. 1

    Brew the Coffee

Brew 1 cup of strong coffee using your preferred method and let it cool to room temperature.

  2. 2

    Mix Coffee and Liqueur

In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee with 1 tablespoon of coffee liqueur and 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Making the Mascarpone Mixture

  1. 3

    Prepare the Egg Yolks

In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks until they are pale and creamy.

  2. 4

    Combine with Mascarpone

Add 1 cup of mascarpone cheese to the whisked egg yolks and mix until smooth.

  3. 5

    Whip the Heavy Cream

In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

  4. 6

    Combine Cream and Mascarpone

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone and egg yolk mixture until fully combined.

  5. 7

    Add Vanilla and Powdered Sugar

Add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and gently fold until incorporated.

Assembling the Tiramisu

  1. 8

    Dip the Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

  2. 9

    Layer the Ingredients

In a serving dish, arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat with another layer of ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chilling and Serving

  1. 10

    Chill the Tiramisu

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  2. 11

    Add Toppings

Before serving, dust the top with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and sprinkle shaved dark chocolate.

  3. 12

    Serve

Slice and serve chilled, enjoying the rich coffee flavor and creamy texture.
