Preparation Steps
1. Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients: finely ground Turkish coffee, water, sugar, and ground cardamom.
2. Combine Ingredients
In a cezve (Turkish coffee pot), add the finely ground Turkish coffee, sugar, and ground cardamom.
3. Add Water
Pour the 150 ml of water into the cezve over the coffee mixture and stir well until all the coffee and sugar are dissolved.
4. Heat the Mixture
Place the cezve on low heat. Do not stir after this point. Allow the coffee to heat slowly.
5. Watch for Foam
As the coffee heats, it will begin to foam and bubble. Keep a close eye on it to prevent it from boiling over.
6. Remove from Heat
Once the foam rises to the top, remove the cezve from the heat immediately to avoid spilling.
7. Serve the Coffee
Pour the coffee into small cups, allowing the grounds to settle at the bottom of the cezve. Serve hot.
