Method

Pimento Cheese Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, and mayonnaise. Mix until well combined and smooth.

  2. 2

    Add Flavorings

Stir in the diced pimentos, garlic powder, onion powder, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  3. 3

    Finish with Chives

Fold in the chopped fresh chives to add a burst of color and flavor. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

  4. 4

    Chill

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the pimento cheese for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Croissant Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare Croissants

Take the cocktail-sized croissants and slice them in half horizontally.

  2. 6

    Fill Croissants

Spread a generous amount of the chilled pimento cheese mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.

  3. 7

    Close and Serve

Top with the other half of the croissant, press gently, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
