Preparation
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the rotini pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables
While the pasta is cooking, wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Drain the black olives and slice them if desired. Drain and chop the artichoke hearts into bite-sized pieces. Rinse and tear the basil leaves into smaller pieces.
- 3
Slice the Salami
Cut the salami into thin strips or bite-sized pieces, depending on your preference.
Assembly
- 4
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled rotini pasta, cherry tomatoes, black olives, artichoke hearts, salami, and fresh basil.
- 5
Dress the Salad
Pour the Italian dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently until all ingredients are well coated.
Serving
- 6
Chill and Serve
For best flavor, cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
