Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Greens

In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped lettuce and spinach. Make sure to wash and dry the greens thoroughly before adding them to the bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Dice the avocado and cucumber into bite-sized pieces. Add them to the salad bowl with the greens.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese and Onion

Crumble the queso fresco and add it to the salad. Finely chop the onion and add it as well. If you prefer a milder flavor, consider soaking the chopped onion in cold water for 10 minutes before adding it to the salad.

  4. 4

    Add Fresh Herbs

Rinse the cilantro and chop it finely. Sprinkle the chopped cilantro over the salad mixture.

  5. 5

    Add Tortilla Chips

Crush the tortilla chips slightly and sprinkle them on top of the salad for added crunch.

  6. 6

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the house green goddess dressing over the top of the salad. Toss the salad gently to combine all the ingredients without crushing the tortilla chips.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the East Side Salad immediately in individual bowls or on a large platter.
