Method

Waffles Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.

  2. 2

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined; do not overmix. The batter should be slightly lumpy.

  4. 4

    Preheat Waffle Iron

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  5. 5

    Cook Waffles

Pour the batter onto the preheated waffle iron (about 1/2 cup per waffle, depending on your waffle iron size) and cook until golden brown and crispy. Repeat until all batter is used.

Bacon Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook Bacon

While the waffles are cooking, preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon slices in a single layer and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove bacon and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

Fruit Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare Fruit

While the bacon and waffles are cooking, wash and slice the strawberries and bananas. Rinse the blueberries. Arrange all the fruit in a serving bowl.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve and Enjoy

To serve, place a waffle on each plate, add a few slices of bacon, and top with fresh fruit. Provide Nutella jars and maple syrup on the side for drizzling.
