Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Pork
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork shoulder with sea salt and drizzle with liquid smoke, ensuring it is well-coated.

Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a large roasting pan, cover it tightly with aluminum foil, and bake for about 6-8 hours until the meat is tender and easily pulls apart.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes. Then shred the meat using two forks.
- 4
Mix with BBQ Sauce
In a large bowl, combine the shredded pork with Hawaiian BBQ sauce, mixing well to ensure all the meat is coated.
- 5
Serve
Serve the Kalua pork on Hawaiian rolls topped with coleslaw. Enjoy!
