Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Season the pork loin chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Breading Setup

Set up a breading station: Place the flour in a shallow dish, whisk the eggs in another dish, and place the panko breadcrumbs in a third dish.

  3. 3

    Bread the Pork

Dredge each pork chop in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  4. 4

    Fry the Pork

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded pork chops and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce and honey. Heat gently until warmed through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the crispy katsu over cooked rice, drizzle with the sweet soy sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
