Prepare the Steak
Begin by seasoning the sirloin steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Fry the Steak
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Prepare the Gravy
In the same skillet, remove excess oil, leaving about 2 tablespoons. Add the country sausage and cook until browned. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir to combine.

Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring continuously until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
