Fried Cheese Curds
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Coating
In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Coat the Cheese Curds
Dip each cheese curd into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat them with breadcrumbs.
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Fry the Cheese Curds
Carefully add the coated cheese curds to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve
Serve the fried cheese curds hot with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
