Loco Moco Ingredients

Method

Loco Moco Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Make the Hamburger Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Gravy

In the same skillet, follow the instructions on the brown gravy mix to prepare the gravy using the water. Stir until thickened and heated through.

  4. 4

    Fry the Eggs

In a separate pan, fry the eggs sunny-side up or to your desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Loco Moco

On a plate, layer the cooked rice, then place a hamburger patty on top, add the fried egg, and drizzle with brown gravy.
