Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips to form fries.

  2. 2

    Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  4. 4

    Drain and Dry

After soaking, drain the fries and pat them dry with a clean towel.

  5. 5

    Seasoning the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  6. 6

    Bake the Fries

Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

  7. 7

    Prepare Garlic and Herbs

While the fries are baking, mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh parsley.

  8. 8

    Toss with Garlic and Herbs

Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them with the minced garlic and chopped parsley.

  9. 9

    Serve

Serve the garlic fries hot, garnished with more parsley if desired.
