Method
Brownie Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Sugars and Eggs
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well combined. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- 5
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- 6
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 7
Cool and Serve
Allow the brownies to cool in the baking dish for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream on top and drizzled with chocolate sauce.
