Cooking Instructions
- 1
Caramelize the Onions
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sliced onions. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onions are soft and caramelized. Season with salt and black pepper.

Prepare the Cream Sauce
In a separate saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat. Add salt and black pepper, stir well and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
- 3
Assemble the Nolio
In a baking dish, layer the caramelized onions first, followed by slices of prosciutto. Pour the cream sauce over the top, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Pecorino Romano cheese.

Bake
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
