Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Flatten chicken breasts to even thickness by pounding them gently. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- 2
Dredge in Flour
Place flour in a shallow dish and dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off any excess.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- 4
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- 5
Add Capers and Finish Sauce
Stir in capers and remaining butter. Allow the sauce to thicken slightly, about 2 minutes.
