Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Tofu

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.

2

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

3

Fry the Tofu

Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

4

Sauté Garlic

In the same skillet, add minced garlic, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

5

Cook the Peppers

Add the chopped red and green bell peppers to the skillet and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

6

Combine Ingredients

Return the fried tofu to the skillet. Add the chili paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

7

Add Thai Basil

Remove from heat and stir in the fresh Thai basil just before serving.

8

Serve

Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
