Prepare the Glass
Rim the edge of a rocks glass with a lime wedge and dip it in coarse salt to coat the rim.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of lime juice, and 1 oz of triple sec.

Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until the mixture is chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice.
