Tea Base

Method

Brewing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

  2. 2

    Steep the Green Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 green tea bags. Let the tea steep for about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Mix the Infusion

In a large pitcher, combine the cooled green tea, 1 cup of Plantation Rum, 1 cup of coconut cream, 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice, and 1 cup of pineapple juice. Stir well to combine.

  2. 5

    Add Fresh Pineapple

Add 1 cup of fresh pineapple chunks to the mixture and gently stir.

  3. 6

    Chill the Tea

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving the Tea

  1. 7

    Prepare Glasses

Fill glasses with ice cubes (about 1/4 cup per glass).

  2. 8

    Pour the Tea

Pour the chilled Green Bahama Tea over the ice-filled glasses.

  3. 9

    Garnish

Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves to taste.
