Method

Thyme Infusion

  1. 1

    Infuse the Gin

In a clean glass jar, combine 1 cup of Hayman's Royal Dock Gin with 1 cup of fresh thyme. Seal the jar and let it sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours, shaking gently every few hours. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the thyme leaves.

Prepare the Martini

  1. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of New Amsterdam Vodka, 1 oz of Cochi Americano, and 1 oz of the thyme-infused Hayman's Royal Dock Gin. Fill the shaker with 1 cup of ice cubes.

  2. 3

    Shake the Cocktail

Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Serve

  1. 4

    Strain and Garnish

Using a cocktail strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled martini glass. Use a vegetable peeler to create a twist of lemon peel and garnish the drink with it.
