Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients: allspice, cognac, Regan's orange bitters, and R & W orange orchard bitters.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 1 tsp of allspice, 2 oz of cognac, and 2 dashes each of Regan's and R & W orange orchard bitters.

Mix the Drink
Add ice to the mixing glass and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds to chill and combine the flavors.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Optionally, garnish with an orange twist or a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg.
