Prepare the Patties
Divide the ground beef into 2 equal portions and gently form them into balls. Do not overwork the meat.

Season the Patties
Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of each ball.

Smash the Patties
Place the beef balls on the hot surface and use a spatula to smash them down into flat patties. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms.

Add Cheese
Flip the patties and immediately place a slice of muenster cheese on each. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Toast the Buns
While the patties are finishing, toast the brioche buns on a separate pan or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the Cheeseburger
Spread A-Side house sauce on the bottom bun, add the pickles, then place the double cheese patty on top. Cover with the top bun.
