Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Dish
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a small baking dish or ramekin with the prosciutto slices, making sure they cover the bottom and sides.
- 2
Add the Cream and Cheese
Pour the heavy cream into the prosciutto-lined dish. Sprinkle the fontina and gruyere cheese evenly over the cream.
- 3
Add the Eggs
Carefully crack the two eggs into the dish on top of the cheese mixture. Season with salt and black pepper.
- 4
Bake the Eggs
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the eggs are set to your desired doneness.
- 5
Prepare the Toast and Greens
While the eggs are baking, toast the slices of bread until golden brown. Serve alongside a handful of mixed greens.
- 6
Serve
Once the eggs are done, remove from the oven and carefully serve hot with toast and greens.
