Scoop and Freeze
Scoop the ice cream into balls and place them on a baking sheet. Freeze for at least 2 hours until solid.

Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, sugar, and vanilla extract. Gradually add ice water until a smooth batter forms.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Coat the Ice Cream
Remove the ice cream balls from the freezer. Dip each ball in the batter, then roll in the coating mixture until well coated.

Fry the Ice Cream
Carefully place the coated ice cream in the hot oil. Fry for 15 seconds until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve Immediately
Serve the fried ice cream immediately with a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce if desired.
