Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Beef
Toss the sliced beef with cornstarch until evenly coated. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
Make the Sauce
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Stir-Fry the Beef
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add garlic, ginger, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Combine and Serve
Return the beef to the skillet. Add the sauce and peanuts, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Adjust seasoning with red pepper flakes to taste. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
