Prepare the Edamame
In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the edamame and 1 tsp of salt. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the edamame are tender but still firm.

Drain and Season
Drain the edamame in a colander and let them cool briefly. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and the remaining salt.

Toss and Serve
Add the drained edamame to the bowl with the seasoning. Toss to combine well. Serve warm or at room temperature.
