Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and set aside.
- 2
Assemble the Rangoon
Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the crab filling in the center of each wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper over to create a triangle, pressing to seal. Ensure there are no air pockets.
- 3
Fry the Rangoon
In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the Rangoon in the oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Serve
Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping.
