Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Beef
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced beef with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Blanch the Broccoli
In a pot of boiling water, blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix the remaining soy sauce with water and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serve
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper if needed. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
