Prepare the Pomegranate
Remove the seeds from the pomegranate and measure out 1 cup of seeds.

Muddle the Mint
In a mixing glass, add the fresh mint leaves and pomegranate seeds. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently smash them together to release their juices and flavors.

Add Lemon Juice
Pour in the lemon juice and stir the mixture to combine with the muddled mint and pomegranate.
Mixing the Drink

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add the muddled mixture along with the tonic water and lemonade.

Shake Well
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill the mixture.
Serving

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Top with additional tonic water if desired.

Garnish
Garnish the drink with extra mint sprigs and a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds.
