Method
Preparation of Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide. Pat them dry with paper towels to ensure they are not wet.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, shaking off excess, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot, about 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken Tenders
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- 6
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
