Method

Pasta Preparation

1

Cook the Mostaccioli Noodles

Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the mostaccioli noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Meat Sauce Preparation

2

Prepare the Meat Sauce

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Alfredo Sauce Preparation

3

Make the Alfredo Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine Sauces

4

Mix the Meat and Alfredo Sauces

In a large bowl, combine the meat sauce and Alfredo sauce. Stir well until fully blended to create the pink sauce.

Serve the Dish

5

Assemble the Pasta A La Rosa

In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked mostaccioli noodles with the pink sauce, tossing gently to coat the noodles. Serve with optional toppings as desired.

Garlic Bread Preparation

6

Prepare the Garlic Bread

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture on each half. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
