In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet.

Cook Meatballs

  1. 3

    Bake Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the baking sheet with meatballs in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.

Prepare Tomato Sauce

  1. 4

    Sauté Onion and Garlic

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for 5 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1 minute.

  2. 5

    Add Tomatoes and Spices

Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Combine and Serve

  1. 6

    Combine Meatballs and Sauce

Once the meatballs are baked, add them to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the meatballs hot over pasta, rice, or on a sub roll. Enjoy your meal!
