Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the okra and cut off the ends. Cut the goat meat into bite-sized pieces. Chop the onion, garlic, and ginger finely. Dice the tomatoes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Goat Meat

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until fragrant. Add the goat meat and cook until browned on all sides.

  3. 3

    Add Tomatoes and Simmer

Add the diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Stir well and cook for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften. Pour in the water, cover, and let it simmer for 45 minutes or until the goat meat is tender.

  4. 4

    Add Okra

Once the goat meat is tender, add the okra to the pot. Stir gently and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the okra is cooked but still slightly crunchy.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the gombo with fufu or rice. Enjoy your meal!
