Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Goat

Cut the goat meat into bite-sized pieces and rinse thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Goat

In a bowl, combine the goat meat with chopped onions, minced garlic, ginger, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Goat

In a large pot, heat palm oil over medium heat. Add the marinated goat meat and sear until browned on all sides.

  4. 4

    Add Water

Pour in the water, cover the pot, and let it cook for about 1 hour until the goat is tender.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Cassava Leaves

While the goat is cooking, wash the cassava leaves in clean water and chop them finely.

  6. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Once the goat is tender, add the chopped cassava leaves and chili pepper to the pot. Stir well.

  7. 7

    Simmer

Cover and simmer for an additional 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  8. 8

    Serve

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot with your choice of side.
