Boiling the Edamame
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Use about 1 tablespoon of salt for every 4 cups of water. Once boiling, add the frozen edamame pods.

Boil the edamame for 3-5 minutes until they are tender but still firm. They should be bright green and cooked through.

Once cooked, drain the edamame in a colander and rinse briefly under cold water to stop the cooking process.
