Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Mix in Hogao Sauce
Stir in the hogao sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Prepare the Dough
Roll out empanada dough into circles, about 4-6 inches in diameter.

Fill Empanadas
Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.

Fry the Empanadas
Heat oil in a deep skillet. Fry the empanadas in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Drain and Serve
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
