Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  2. 2

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. 3

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. 4

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

  6. 6

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  7. 7

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool.

  8. 8

    Prepare the Milk Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk.

  9. 9

Once the cake is cool, poke holes all over the top using a fork.

  10. 10

Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, ensuring it is absorbed evenly.

  11. 11

    Prepare the Topping

Top the soaked cake with whipped cream, sliced strawberries, and drizzle with cajeta.

  12. 12

    Serve chilled and enjoy!
