Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Steak
Season the steak with 1 tablespoon of fajita seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Steak
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the steak and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
- 3
Grill the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add sliced bell peppers and onion. Sprinkle with the remaining fajita seasoning. Cook for about 5-6 minutes until they are tender and slightly charred.
- 4
Slice the Steak
After the steak has rested, slice it thinly against the grain.
- 5
Assemble the Bowl
In a bowl, layer the cooked rice, grilled peppers, onions, and sliced steak. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
