Prepare the Romaine
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water, then dry it using a salad spinner or by patting it with paper towels. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the corn tortillas into small squares. In a bowl, toss the tortilla pieces with olive oil, chili powder, and salt until evenly coated. Spread the tortilla pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool.
