Method

Sandwich Preparation

  1. 1

    Toast the Bread

Begin by toasting 3 slices of house bread until golden brown. This will provide a crispy texture for your sandwich.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Once cooked, place them on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tomato

Wash the tomato and slice it into thin rounds, discarding the stem end.

  4. 4

    Assemble the First Layer

On the bottom slice of toasted bread, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Layer 2 ounces of sliced turkey breast and 1 slice of American cheese.

  5. 5

    Add the Second Layer

Place the second slice of toasted bread on top of the turkey and cheese. Spread another tablespoon of mayonnaise on this slice. Add 2 ounces of sliced ham, 3 strips of cooked bacon, and 1 leaf of romaine lettuce.

  6. 6

    Finish the Sandwich

Top with the final slice of toasted bread. Spread the remaining mayonnaise on the top slice. Add the sliced tomato and the last slice of American cheese.

  7. 7

    Cut and Serve

Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich diagonally into quarters. Secure each quarter with a toothpick if desired.
