Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon (if using)

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

  2. 2

    Form and Cook the Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and form them into patties. Season each side with salt and pepper. Heat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Fry the Egg (if using)

In a separate skillet, fry the eggs sunny-side up or to your preference.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer shredded lettuce, sliced red onion, and pickles. Place the first beef patty with melted cheese on top, followed by the second patty. If using, add the crispy bacon and fried egg. Spread the not-so-secret sauce on the top bun and place it on top.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
