Nachos Grande Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Protein

If using ground beef, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and season with taco seasoning. If using chicken or steak, grill or roast until fully cooked, then shred or slice.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Nachos

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the tortilla chips.

  4. 4

    Add Protein and Bake

Top the cheese with your choice of cooked ground beef, shredded chicken, or sliced steak. If using refried beans, dollop them over the nachos. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and sliced jalapeños. Serve immediately.
