Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

1

Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

2

Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties that are about 3/4 inch thick.

Cook the Burger

3

Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

4

Cook the Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assemble the Cheeseburger

5

Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster if desired.

6

Add Toppings

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, a few pickle slices, and condiments like ketchup and mustard to taste.

7

Finish Assembly

Place the top half of the bun over the toppings and press down gently to secure. Your cheeseburger is ready to enjoy!
