Method
Preparing the Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into tenders, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken tender into the flour, coating it completely. Shake off excess flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Set aside on a plate.
Cooking the Chicken Tenders
- 4
Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot, about 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the breaded chicken tenders in the hot oil, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 6
Drain and Cool
Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Making the Buffalo Sauce
- 7
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
- 8
Preparing the Ranch Dipping Sauce
- 9
Mix Ranch Ingredients
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, milk, and salt. Mix until smooth.
Serving
- 10
Toss Chicken in Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the cooked chicken tenders in the buffalo sauce until well coated.
- 11
Serve
Serve the buffalo chicken tenders with the ranch dipping sauce on the side.
